I called the CIC agent again asking why I was never contacted for additional documents even though my eligibility was review required. Furthermore, the agent also said that the file is untouched and additional documents you provided will be looked into when an office reviews the file. My medical, passport has expired. Do you think I should update or should I wait for CIC to tell me that they need this updated information?

Yeah I read that too. Current plan is study path maybe doing a 1-year master degree there. What about u, gonna be in Canada for the considerable future?

I got recruiters nudging from bay area which is tempting but I would like to settle down in Vancouver for now.

My spouse has renewed the passport while our PR application is under process.
So do we have to inform CiC about the new passport number?

Your passport has expired? If yes then renew it. For medical you can wait if you want because sometimes they give extension on medical themselves.

The major companies are not in cities.

Guys I need help 226 have passed without single update, from my understanding there is no point of calling cic, because they are not very helpful, email is not an option because someone like Mathew will replay with copy and paste line !!!I was thinking to email MP but again I'm not sure, shall i email MP of Edmonton ..?Any help would be appreciated?Cheers in advance?

Even that would only get you the latest update. Little more than what you might from CIC Agent over the call.
