What does that mean .... "started processing" ... on Jan 28, 2019.... is this essentially AOR?

Started processing means they started reviewing your documents and application. Once they finish it and seems good they will send you the AOR

I’m confused, but I thought they send you the AOR when the open your package ?

Or they send it after they check your package?

In addition to a status update yesterday, today I received a do-not-reply email with the UCI and application #. Seems like they are getting to the early Dec applicants now!! Great news. Not sure if this email is considered .... AOR ??? Regardless, it is progress.

Hello there! Good thing i found this thread. I am currently here in the Philippines and my husband sent our application last Dec. 19, 2018 and was received Dec. 21, 2018. We sent it in Sydney VAC. Nothing yet until now.

I hope to hear something soon.. Fingers crossed!

Yes ours was The last day of Nov, or Dec 01. When they received it!

Quick question for everyone.... If I log in and check application via the Sponsor's account (mine) .... via CIC Online Services, I can check the status of the application... so far we are on the AOR stage, (App rec'd Early Dec. 2018) does this mean that the sponsor's account is already linked to our application? I go to:

1. Home
2. My Application
3. Client Application Status (Application is there, and is associated with the Sponsor's Account
   
   The PA has not been able to link the application yet through his GC KEY account however. (PA is from Costa Rica) We emailed them about this in case it is mandatory that the PA have application linked as well as the sponsor.

Hi Yes I am using the Application # and the UCI number to check. It brings up status on the sponsors account. Does this mean I have already linked the Sponsor's GCKEY account to my application? No further action needed at this time?
