For me the Gckey says BGC is started but they have not started eligibility.

Did you received an email sayin Ankara startet processing, I mean Aor2?
Coz I received my file is transfered to Ankara, but not Aor2

I never received a file transfer email. My ECAS shows “we started processing your application” which is the AOR2, i waited for a few days for an email but nothing. I called CIC only to find out that the application was already transferred to Ankara.

We got an email on the same day of my biometric enrolment saying our file is transferred to Ankara for further processing, but it says nothing about the start of processing there. I used to think that this is AOR2.
So I should wait for another email?

I don’t think there’s a generic email for BGC. You will just see it on your GCkey that they started processing your application.

Application received: 30Aug 2018
AOR1: 20 Dec 2018
Medical request: 27 Dec 2018
Biometric enrolment letter: 28 Dec 2018
Sponsor Approval: 28 Dec 2018
Transfer to Ankar VO: 10 Jan 2019

PA from Iran.

In my Gckey account it said the "We are processing your background check....". it has been like this since I got AOR1. Shouldn't they start BC after the file transfer to Ankara? Is it a template sentence? Or they have already started my BC?

Biometrics wasn’t requested for they only started requiring after July.

Eligibility has been “in process” since from the start.
BGC is still on default.

I did receive such an email but it seems that not everyone does.

I already had “we started processing” on ecas for PA on Jan 8, before they transfer the file to ankara on Jan 17, So do you mean I will have “we started processing” again online when ankara starts processing as AOR2?!

don't worry, BGC is the final stage. after completing of eligibility assessment he receive the email of Pre-arrival service and then BGC will be started.
