What is single entry visa? Is dm means visa approval?

it is most probably approved if you received pre arrival letter already. for pr it will be only single entry visa, once you land in canada they will cancel that and will mail you pr card with in 2-3months.

Thanks I have been wanting to go since October but I wasn’t sure as it has clearly been written that Pr should be living in Canada and I also called cic few times diff agents diff answer ..so I didn’t want to take any risk as I wanted to go for longer period and hoping to come back with my husband but I think if I plan to go in March it should be ok as it will almost be 7 months then since we applied
Any thoughts ?
And if I go do I need to inform cic about it ??

i don't think you need to inform them, but it wouldn't hurt to ask them if there is anything you need to know before you go

Yes got pre arrival letter and decision made in December already

No, you are not telling them that you are going. But rather, if you go, what do you need to know about? That's not informing them of anything.

Still waiting for an update after that, getting impatient as I can see application around my timeline already got Pre-arrival email /DM and passport request.

I requested GCMS notes

I See Eligibility Assessment status as recommended passed and GCMS note by analyst says satisfactory evidence provided and file forwarded to the officer for further review and decision. The other part of application Admissibility under security status says not started.

(I don't see any notes that should be considered red flag ...lastest date when my application was touched was on 23 Dec 2018 as Per GCMS note)

My queries

1 ) Does anyone know how much time to expect after an analyst has changed the status and forwarded to the officer?
2) Is Admissibility (Security) decided after eligibility is passed then how much time should I be expecting for that?

Yes got pre arrival letter and decision made in December already

Did you check your email or pa's email or representative's email, if it is not there, try to send webform. But nowadays, they are taking time after dm also for ppr bcz of high volume of applications

There are no exact timelines, if everything is good. You will get dm and ppr soon

On august 20th .. they received on August 24th.. aor Oct 2.. MR Oct 12.. started processing file 13 nov.. no file trasfer email yet.. BGC not started yet
