I have the same timeline too. Not sure if my security has started now but it was pending when i checked last in Dec.

Do you think security is being delayed since CIC hasn't moved August applications to the secret service? What are your thoughts?

I've been suspecting the same for quite some time. The experts will say no, but the longer I wait, and see people in certain NOCs (read: IT) getting PPR faster than others, the more I feel this is the case. This feeling is cemented after I came across this article:

That is not true as people with those NOC are also waiting.

I am not sure, not an expert to comment on this but there are quite a few Aug AOR applications approved, so i guess there’s no strict pattern to it. All we can do is wait for our turn. Lets stay connected to track the progress.

Call IRCC or order GCMS to have a clear picture on your application.

Had word with CIC agent few days back. As per him, back ground check , security and criminal check is cleared and everything seems to be fine but yet have not any recieved ppr mail. On asking same, he replied i cant say by when you will recieve ppr mail but hope u get soon.

I am wondering if that too happens with anyone else. Please suggest next step.

Hi all,

I know the number is mentioned somewhere before, but can someone please let me know what number I should call to ask about the status of my application?

Additionally, what information should I have in hand and what should I be expecting during the call? Is it advisable to make such a call?

I am going to be calling from an international number, if that makes a difference. Since it is around 6 am now in Canda I will make a the call in like 3 hours.

You didn't forget at all. I hope Ashtush got his nomination. I submitted eAPR with an Ontario nomination on 24 August. A forthnight later, it was 440 with a favorable tie breaking rule.
