PPR email can come from any Visa office so it depends on the visa offce it comes from.
For some people the PPR letter is sent to their CIC portal not as an email.

From what I have read on the forum, some people have also received the email in their SPAM folder.
Though I don't know the exact Subject line, but it is something like, Ready for Visa, so you can keep an eye out for that.

Very slim at this stage, background check means eligibility met or recommended pass which in itself is a major achievement for Express entry applicants.
Mine is still under review and when I ordered CGMS notes, the officer mentioned "Client did not provide job duties" and i immediately uploaded (Nov 23) the new job duties letter via web form along with other supporting documents like pay slips. No updates whatsoever on my application ever since submitted.
