GCMS shows 'Security Screening' and waiting... - let's gather here!

Hlo everyone,
I am having Aor 6 April 18 and my spouse is in Ss from 18 May 18.
My Eligibility,Criminality.Info sharing,security everything is passed.

Only security and criminality of my spouse is pending.

I applied for CBSA notes on 19 Nov 2018
And got a ghost update on 19 dec.

Now I got CBSA notes and they clearly indicate Ss started on 18 May.

But today on 29 dec I got another ghost update.
I really confused what is happening????with my case.
Every update brings hopes but nothing happens.

Anyone can provide information on it?
Does it indicates there is progress in case?And SS is over(in 7 months)

Ss generally takes 8-12 months unfortunately right now depending on what you applied for. Sponsorship being faster then EE

Get hold of the call agent and ask him/her to put a note on your file that your security hasn't started even after 22 months. They usually do this if the application has crossed more than 6 months. I am wondering why your eligibility took that long? Probably you didn't notice but you might be one of those "Eligibility review required" cases.

eligibility pass long time ago, just the security stuck at not start all this time, called cic agent and all they said its use a web form to contact ircc. i asked if they can write a note or contact the security department to remind the officer who is response my file, but she said no one can contact the security department. i dont see too much help from them

You can request them to ask the agent to give a date but you cannot ask the security departments.

You can get CBSA notes. They will tell you where you are the in security screening. Try to keep in mind ss can take anywhere from 6 months to a year

Hi bud, nopes nothing at all. My rep sent London VO an email yesterday to which they got a reply today that my file is still going through security checks.

And yes indeed I'm bracing for filing Mandamus. I'm not gonna wait for another 4 - 6 months for these low life imbeciles to finalise my file.

How about yourself? Are you looking into it as well?

AoR November 15th. It's been 50 days and I ordered both GCMS and CBSA notes. I don't know why LOL. Now I am worried if that will create more problems.
