Happy New Year!!! My parents passport has been in Ankara office for issuing the PR visa since Dec 7. I followed up with them but haven't received a clear answer yet. I'm thinking it's due to Christmas time. Just wanted to see if anyone has experienced the same issue?

Is anyone here like me whose submitted PGP application in October 2018 and didn’t receive a AOR or any email update ?
My application was received in Ottawa on 3rd October 2018 and I dint receive any update after that.
Can you also provide if there is any whatsapp group for PGP 2018 , please add me to that ? Or post a link to whatsapp group !
Just checked my eCase status. There is 1 new message: ' We started processing your application on 31st December 2018'. I applied on 24th May and got AOR in October 2018.

Thanks Yula, I hope so. I've never expected such a delay in this stage.
They finally replied to my email: "Due to the exceptionally high volume of applications received in recent months, processing times have unfortunately increased, including at visa printing stage. We hope that you will have your passports and visas in you possession within the next 2 weeks. "
