have you had any Ghost updates.. anything like that?? do you know the status about your application ,as in criminality, security and eligibility..??

as I have applied via consultant so I don't know about any Ghost updates.. But I called cic last 2 weeks that time agent said bg not start, only medical passed and Eligibilty passed but not fully passed bcoz some process are going.... Now am waiting until 3rd Jan then I will call them again,apply my notes And send email for status.

The request date at the top and generation date at the bottom is the same. This confuses me completely. My GCMS notes were delayed by 20 days (received it on 50th day); in that case, how could my notes be generated on the day of request? Any thoughts?

Since your GCMS notes were delayed, which in most cases is due to an administrative issue, they were generated and requested on the same day. It could be a case where your file is with LVO, and when the request to generate was made, it was never followed-up by the LVO.

Called CIC today, informed that my background check is in progress, the same doesn't reflect on my profile.
Called them 4 weeks back for which i was informed that my eligibility is recommended passed, but now they are saying its in progress. Upon letting them know that i have been informed about my eligibility as recommended passed in the past, they said it's just a status not final status.

Is this normal?

This is also same with me. I called CIC in October agent told me my eligibility is recommended passed, again called last week now my eligibility is under process. I think may be its not final yet that's why status keep changing.

Back ground check can also be criminality or security. You should have been more specific in your inquiry.

I just saw my PPR letter from NDVO, today 31st December 2018.

All details are in my signature.
I emailed NDVO once I knew they were sending PPRS to approved files despite not being Indian. I'm Nigerian.
So I'm going to sort out the change of LVO for passport submission today.
It's good news, finally!

Oh yeah, i have asked them, but the agent informed that they dont have specific information. Might be a bad luck got through a non -informative agent
