this background check is killing me i dont no why they take so long ,my background check started June 2018 and still going on,
i am in 17 month now ,send them email twice before reply is pleased to inform you that everything appears to be in order with the application ,rest assured that you will be informed as soon as as a decision is reached or if additional information needed .
send a another email yesterday same reply with in one hour but they added one more line your application is still within the regular processing times.

any idea why they taking so long for background check

Now from aug 2012 to dec 2018 nearly 6 years 4 months ,I don't know how long to wait more really frustrating.

Congratulation dear ertarun ,,, I wish you to fast processing.

Thanks a bunch. When I was preparing my application for federal in September -2018, the processing timelines mentioned on the website was 15-17 months for people yet to apply.

I hope I am part of that timeline and get something positive by end of 2019.

Congraulation Tarun for your UCI

Last week i have sent file for federal after getting CSQ. so it will take around 2 and1/2 month to get UCI.

You can expect even earlier. They are really active in Q1. You might get before end of January 2019 as well.

Please be patient. I can understand your frustration but looking at the pattern in which they are processing applications, they have send DM to files received till 15th March 2017. I also agree that there are few exceptions to this. But please bear in mind that your application was received in Aug 2017, so you are almost nearing your DM and PPR phase.

Well, ARRIMA is totally a new system in effective from September 2018 and those who are in pending list has nothing to do with Arrima as their selection criteria is totally different from us. One of my friend already got PNP letter from Quebec through Arrima just before Christmas. Hoping for a good news soon.
And yes I do feel that I'm at the wrong platform buddy !

Hi,

My file was delivered to Nova Scotia on 11th Oct and I received my UCI on 24th Dec. Exact 73 days. Honestly, I was very anxious since I had some stories where files were returned and actually got lost. But stay calm for at least 90 days. If your file is complete, you will definitely get UCI within 90 days!
