Hi guys, I am a cec inland and aor on 11 July. I got a ghost update on last Friday and this morning I called agent which told me the reason was background check. Any master could tell where is my application in the progress.

Id like to call CIC tomorrow evening before I book my flight to Australia on the weekend to start my Australian work visa. If they say my eligibility has passed I might not bother with Aus. When is the best time to call? And if someone can give me the number to call off google hangouts that would be great.

okay. it's probably IP2. but just be a lil more patient you'll get an update once at least two of them are completed.

My status changed to IP2 the same day with MEP, so I doubt that would be a fake one.

Then no change until the ghost update last Friday. The agent told me application is in Sydney, does that represent a long way to go?

Guys, the hype is true!!!!!

I was (waaaas) on the train that had it's application approved on the ghost update event (see my signature).

11h29AM brazil-time I emailed the São Paulo Visa Office, with no proof that they would handle my application (last info = sydney), asking about the status.
3 hours passed aaaand:
14h29PM brazil-time (20min ago) IT'S PPPPPPPPRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!
