How long did they give you to respond? I think you would need to submit your bank statements stamped by the bank for the months you've been asked.

Well i have time till 16th. Yes I need to provide bank statement but what would be the logic of asking this tha i want to know . I have showed FD in my name.

Same here. I don't see the progress bar added to my account. I received the email regarding that last night at 12:40am

I see the progress bar . I have a progress bar in half completed . It says the following .
Date received: September 5, 2018 - Estimated completion date: March 5, 2019 .

So its the 6 month time explained graphically....WOW.

Sending my passport today! So so so happy!!!

My timeline:
CEC applying from Canada
AOR September 21
Medicals passed on October 18
IP2 October 18
Ghost update December 5
Email with passport request December 5

My online status looks the same since October 18 though.

What was the real point of CIC making so much fuss sending emails twice about the useless bar?

The only reasonable explanation is they wanted us to calm down and stop contacting them.

In fact, what the system really needs is a bit of transparency (just make the statuses already on the page working as they should be!). If it were the case, they could close a call center for such inquiries altogether.

AOR date: Sept. 7th
Medical passed: Oct. 5th
Fingerprint requested: Oct. 5th
Fingerprint completed: Oct. 24th
Eligibility Recommend passed
Criminality passed
Security Check not started (although the profile says "we are processing your background check")

Since then its the same background check status reading that we will send you a message when we start your background check.
now it will be vacation time till first week of jan. so i should expect it in feb right?

Same here. No email after medical clearence. Waiting and wondering what is going on.
