Has anybody seen the new progress bar? Or are we expecting it when the day starts in Ottawa? It's weird that there's no system maintenance connected to it

It is ok actually when they do system maintenance it requires monopoly access since they clean up the database... In contrast, the progress bar is just an update of the web application, which is multiple-instance cluster, so they just update the nodes sequentially, with no downtime

Actually yes, it can appear any time, for some period it can even appear and dissapear after page refresh, depending on which node you are routed

Guys, I have seen a progress bar.....!








It shows up everytime I install a new application, or post a package, or order something from amazon.

I am sure you guys have seen it too...

can anyone confirm if its true.

If you call agent and they say that your file is in LVO, chances are your application is still in progress. Canada will only have the information if LVO sends back a confirmation of approval.

CIC agents do not have access to applications at LVO offices -- it was stated on their bulletin and even on IVR msg when u call CIC.

Had got a ghost update yesterday.

I know at least 4 others who had got ghost update yesterday and got PPR today.
IP2 date similar for all 5 of us.
For all of us, security was yet to start until Thursday last week.
All having VO Ottawa.
