Hello All,
I am married and have a 1 month old Baby.
I am contemplating to apply for a Canadian PR via express entry.
However can anyone help me with some information as to whether if I can apply for myself first-get a PR-land in Canada and then arrange and apply for my spouse and child's PR via the Family and Spousal Immigration.
OR is it advisable for both my spouse and myself to apply for PR at the same time mentioning our child as a dependent.
What are the options available and which one is the most suitable?
Its better to apply for entire family together, i.e. husband, wife and child. Even if you apply for yourself first, you still need to declare your husband and child... also they need to undergo medicals even if they coming with you or not. ... over that you need to prove that why they are not accompanying or immigrating with you.
Would you advise me to apply her application as an outland applicant ? Is it faster ? She also need to travel outside of Canada back and forth to US to attend some family business in near future. If I apply her as an inland applicant, will that prove an obstacle for her to leave and re enter Canada? If I apply her as an outland applicant can she still live with me in Canada ? Will I have to purchase her medical insurance privately in that case ?

Outland is generally faster and IRCC recommends outland if the applicant plans to leave Canada during the process. It is fine for a person to be in Canada while an outland app processes.
Am a newcomer to Canada with non-accompanying spouse. My circumstances have now changed and I need to have my spouse with me in Canada. Can I submit a spouse sponsorship application even though I have only spent 2months in Canada?

I am from Albania. My husband who lives in Canada and has PR, made the application for me under Spouse Sponsorship. He sent the documents on the end of May, 2018. After medical records, i received an email from IRCC: my application was on the visa office in Rome. We thought we would receive an answer soon. It is 12/12/2018 and we do not has any answer. I checked the application status online. It is In Process.
Is it normal the process to last so much? I read it lasts only 3 months after the medical records.
I want to apply for a visitor visa, but i do not know if it will affect my process. Should i come back to Albania if i receive the answer once i am in Canada?

Average processing time is 12 months. In your case, that would mean May 2019. Recently they've been doing it a bit faster so some people finish at around the 10 month mark, but it's still definitely too early for you.
Applying for a visitor visa will not affect your PR application in any way, but it's generally difficult to get one in your situation as having a spouse in Canada and a PR application in process makes you an overstay risk. So make sure you have strong ties to your country to make chances of getting the visitor visa better.
