They give this answer by phone as well?

Not sure, but I would say it is SS indeed. When I called CIC the agent told me my case would finish by Jan 15, which is 6 months after the AOR. The fact that the agent did not specified a date to you is a warning sign...

That is my fear as well. You can request GCMS or CBSA to know more about your profile.

The last you heard was that your security had not started right?
I think the trend with SS is that security is usually ongoing. Security not started after IP2 might be a sign that you're not in SS.

No have not

Just order the GCMS notes ASAP. Also order CSIS notes- it’s a one page doc which will confirm whether you are in SS or not. First part of SS is done by CSIS and then it moves to CBSA. At this stage most likely if you are in SS then file will be with CSIS and CSIS notes will give definitive answer.
