Has anyone else received their actual permit yet? I was approved on the 8th. why it takes 3 f**king weeks to deliver a piece of paper from Edmonton to Vancouver... worst postal service ever!

Hello I got my paper today in the mail

This is my timeline

August 09 app sent
August 13 received
Sep 14 AOR
Nov 14 request for medicals
Nov 22 medicals done
Nov 21 OWP confirmation
Nov 28 OWP physical received

I haven’t been able to link my app to mycic account so I won’t know when and if I passed my medicals

Yes I got mine yesterday.
It was mailed last Wednesday, so it took less than 4 business days from Edmonton to Toronto. I guess I got lucky with the stirke!

Application Delivered: August 31, 2018 (It was supposed to arrive the next day (Xpresspost! within Ontario!!!)but took 15 days, come on Canada Post)

Those are completely unrelated.
The medical is for PR.
OWP Is a separate process and office.
I hadn't even had my exam when I got my yOWP approved

I just assumed that they started requesting ME prior to OWP in order to issue the work permits without restrictions.

So I sent IRCC a copy of my new passport about 2 months ago via webform, however nothing had been updated on my gckey or ecas. Any idea if they actually update the name on the account, or no? I'd rather my PR and OWP to have marital name.

Application sent: 24th Aug 2018 (Police certificate and Schedule A submitted upfront).
Application received: 28th Aug 2018
AOR Received: 21st Sept 2018
Medical Request: 9th Nov 2018
Medical Completed: 14th Nov 2018
Medical Passed: 26th Nov 2018
OWP Approved: 29th Nov 2018
Waiting on OWP in mail (Location: Toronto)
Background hasn't started yet

If you linked your owp application on mycic then you will be able to see the status there. If it is linked, it will just say "submitted" until you actually receive approval.
