January 27, 2017 applicant. Still have not heard back called them, MP's office called, submitted a web from. My friend who applied in July just got her PPR. I wonder if something happened to the applications received after January 15th or so. Seems like we're all stuck in this security party? I don't know I'm wondering.

I am stuck at Background check. Criminality is ok, but Security is "not started" .Let see how long it will take.

Same boat. Applied Feb 8, 2017. AOR 25 march, 2017. Medical passed in March 2018. No updates after that. GCMS notes indicate PS. All cleared. How do you know background screening not started? I recently applied to CBSA for GCMS notes. The time is up and hopefully I will have some info on background check by then

This is kind of ghost update. Your file got updated recently. May be should you expect PPR soon
