How to figure out the date as to when the final decision was made via GCMS notes?
There is also a section under Finalize Application

I ordered the notes on Oct 29th. I can't seem to find when the decision was made, but in the second page it is stated "Final: Approved"

I have yet to receive a PPR or landing interview date.

Have you checked the last few pages of the notes. Under the officer's notes, maybe the topmost ones(the most recent). Not sure though, just a suggestion to see if that will give any clue.

How many of us with approved cases crossing 6 months next week?

I'll be crossing 6 months on the 3rd of Dec.

Thanks for pointing that out @Adesua The most recent one being "Note 1" on Oct 12/2018 which states why the officer was satisfied with the application.

I am going to assume the date mentioned with that note is the date it was approved.

Just received my GCMS notes. On the second page under "Assessments - Final: Approved". Eligibility - passed, medical - passed, criminality - passed, info sharing - complete, Nothing mentioned under security

Under ministerial instructions Type: EE-MI1 (does this mean I need to send my passport for an one entry visa stamp?)

Now to the main question:

on page 6, they have mentioned all address details and contact info of my consultant, but they misspelt his email address. However on the next page, right before eligibility details, they have his email ID mentioned again but this time it is correct.


I have checked the application and the email address was mentioned correctly. Do you think I have to call CIC to inform about the error? or it was probably just a typo?

I think your application might have been approved till now as all other steps were completed till last month and only security was pending. Dont rely completely on my statement as there might be situation where your file is lying somewhere for some office to take final call. Just stay positive as its almost done.

By the way, why your signature shows you are May AOR whereas your recent message shows June AOR?

Cant say for sure buddy. 20th Nov spoke to CIC and the agent said Security was not started. So nothing has changed between my GCMS generation and 20th November, which is 20 days.

One thing is for sure. It is not one such application which was approved and held back.

Sorry about the confusion. I belong to May 18 AoR. Got PPR. Now banging my head with my girl friend's application. She is of June crowd. We plan to travel together.
