Any idea how long does IRCC takes normally to send the passport request after the ghost update? I got ghost update today.

I assume that means my case/file is moved to Ottawa office.

Submitted Pnp pr inland in September
AOR October
Started processing on October 10, 2017
Medicals on June 2018
Medicals done on July
Nothing after that , what is that pre arrival email , I didn’t get anything like that and also CIC said stage 2 background check is going on
Does anyone get PPR with this timeline
Can u please tell about that pre arrival

Oct 11,2017 AOR

Except that I have my MR march 23,2018
MEdical passed: April 6,2018
Pre arrival April 25,2018

8 months since my medical still no updates

Btw pre arrival is when u passed ur eligibility.

Oh I didn’t get that email , what will be written in that email ..I forgot to tell once they asked landing fee which was paid before mediclas

Also CIC in that automated message said that eligibility,background check is in process , We are soo worries , workpermit got refused and now applied for restoration as a visitor

Yes instead of applying for closed permit we applied for BOWP

Now we can’t even go for the border to ask for workpermit as we applied for visitor and didn’t get any reply for that from CIC, it takes 3 months to get visitor vissa

was your old WP employer restricted? Then just apply for a work permit extension instead of a BOWP. you have you tried that?

My understanding is that if your old WP has not expired, you should apply for extension ASAP . Then you will be under implied status and you will be able to work and wait

Yes we have employee restrictions , but my consultant told that if we apply for restoration on PNP basis , we might get refusal
But he told nothing will affect PR
No job , sitting at home ,, also we didn’t get that pre arrival email
