visa office is the office that processes your visa (or PR) applications

Thanks for your advice! I got AOR on Jul 19, medical passed on Aug 8, since then no updates yet, should i request a GCMS note or should i call them? Don't know what happened? Do you know why timing for everybody is different? I used to study and live in US, does it make the background check longer than others?

You can either call them or order GCMS. If you didn't do it yet, it's a good time now, after 4 months. GCMS notes will give you more details than what the agent will provide you on the phone. The drawback is that you have to wait 30-40 days to get them.
I lived in the US as well and it didn't make any difference I believe.

You will know your VO either by calling an agent either by ordering GCMS notes.
You can call on +1 613 944 4000. Go through all the menu's and once you're at the end, select "0" to talk to an agent.
To order GCMS notes, go on getgcms.com
