Assalamoalikum
This is my first post here. I am a Canadian Pakistani and I applied for sponsorship of my husband under family class in December 2017.
I recently received an email from London visa office stating that i and my spouse need to provide further evidence to prove that our relationship is genuine. We have been asked specifically to provide rukshati pictures and pictures of our outings together. My question is regarding further correspondence. Do I mail the required things to the London visa office or upload them online on the account?
Just wanted to be sure about it before I proceed.
Welcome to this forum
. Uploading them online is the fastest and preferred method. Could you also share your timeline to help fellow applicants please?
Random question for you guys - when the entire process is done, how does the airline ticket to come to Canada work? Does the Government provide that or we would book the travel ourselves?.........and any limits on how much luggage?
Received Pre-arrival email on Nov 17.

guys, anybody with the status "not applicable" under "review of additional documents"?
The additional documents that we had submitted were police certificates (multiple), schd A, and medical. Medical says passed.
WE recd pre-arrival last week, it says we are processing your background check. Till yesterday review of additional documents said "the additional documents you provided have been uploaded". But today it changed to "not applicable".

Don't worry about this status change. They have received your documents and are processing the BGC now. You will get good news pretty soon!

I have seen other forum members talk about the same status change. This just means that they don't want any more additional documents from your side. Usually, this is considered a pretty good sign, you are close to DM and PPR stage. Good luck !
Thank you Ahmed and MassHunter
I highly doubt IOM is making fake money. It's sophisticated institute in Pakistan in my opinion (I could be wrong too). Why did you guys go for remedical at first place? Can you please elaborate your case?
We went for remedical due to the reason that LVO took 5months to review our submitted additional documents and in consequence of our medical expired. Before that we also think that IOM is authentic and sophisted institute, but honestly now we are in highly doubt.
Very Urgent Reply needed plz
My wife went for remedical at IOM Lhr. They said that my wife has two spots at her chest xray(Last year her chest xray was clear). They called her for smear sputum test and ask to bring 12000/. My wife does not have TB symptoms. Next day we went to Agha Khan Lab and did her chest xray. Her xray is clear no spot seen by radiologist even technichian said that her xray is very clear. We have now xray report also. Should we tell IOM and ask them to do xray again. Many people told me that IOM is making fake money. Why they don't show us our reports and xray. Only for sputum test which outside lab do for max 600/, IOM charging 12000/ OMG
Plz guide me what should i do. Will IOM offend by challenging their XRAY
This could have been a mistake, but then again for a paid service from a reputable institute they should not make such mistakes.
I would suggest
not to confront them, 12,000/- is a small price. Just pay, and hopefully they would realize in smear sputum that they made a mistake in the X-ray. No point in making an issue out of it, you have a lot at risk. Just pay the cost and be done with it. Good Luck!
Assalamalaikum,
I submitted my application to sponsor my wife in October. It was delivered to the Sydney center on Oct 17 and it's now been a month and neither me nor my wife have had any correspondence nor any means to find out the status. Is there any way to find out or just be patient and wait to hear from them? Thank you

Congrats!
There are many applicants like you, including me, who had no red flags but still had to go through a long background check :/
I guess it's also dependant on luck
