Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2018

I just received a sponsor approval and now the application is sent the warsaw visa office. My mother is however in Canada for the next 6 months. Do you know if transferring the application to Ottawa will speed up the next steps?

My In-laws Medical was cleared on 17th Sept and I submitted all requested document to IRCC on the webpage on 14th Sep

This is my current status:

Review of eligibility - We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

Review of medical results-You passed the medical exam.

Review of additional documents- We are reviewing the additional documents you provided.

Interview -You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.

Biometrics -We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes

Background check - We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Final decision-Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Its been 3 months since I submitted all document but no decision made.

Do you think the LVO (Ottawa) is sleeping or something wrong with my application and that's causing the delay.

I see so many people already got the PPR.

Anybody in same boat????? I am so worried

I'm in the same boat. Background check is being conducted since August, medical check was in June. I'm learning not to check status every day

Also question: you mentioned Warsaw being better (I assume faster) than Ottawa. I am looking at 2018 spreadsheet and it looks like Ottawa is sending the medical and police check request after a couple of days after the sponsor was approved while some local offices take a few months. Is there any other evidences (in this thread?) of Warsaw processing applications faster than Ottawa?

Good afternoon, I am sponsoring my parents, and we got a request from CIC for below:
***Schedule A: IMM5669 is missing a handwritten signature. Although the current form states that an electronic signature is acceptable, due to legislation changes as of May 22nd, 2018, a handwritten signature is required for this form. It will not be accepted if the document has not been printed and signed. Please ensure that you sign the form by hand once it has been printed.

QUESTION: do my parents need to complete new forms and then sign them with a new (current) date, or they just need to put their signatures on their old ( already completed) forms with old dates.
