BCG Back ground check is done for person you sponsored. It is almost completion stage then invitation letter+ PPR follows.
Time taken for BCG varies. It may take few days to months. It depends on how many countries applicant had visited in the past, so they would check with all places.I hope it is much clear now

Hope for the best,,be prepared 4 the worst. But you know how many countries your spouse visited, if none then BCG goes faster

Hello everyone,

My application is received in July, 2018 (Outland Spouse Sponsorship App) and it has been processed. I'm going to Canada in March, 2019 for personal issue. My concern is during the time I stay in Canada, if cic requests for something like Passport Request, then can I send the passport to any VO in Canada, and also can I do the landing process when I'm still in Canada?
Does anyone know this case?

I did not had such things ATTESTED . make sure PCC is sent in ORIGINAL rest few docs like certificates can be attested here or India, but only you the Sponsor sends it all . Remember you SPONSOR applying for souse while she is an applicant. Marriage Certificate I sent was attested + few of her school certificates. I sent simple color photocopies of my Passport, bills, call logs, whatsapp shots

However I am still confused when you said rest few docs need to be self attested? My checklist nowhere mentions of attestation etc unless docs are not in English or French..All my docs are in English including Marriage Certificate!

Hi guys,

My husband is a Canadian citizen and he applied for my spousal visa ( I live in Dubai,UAE) . My application completed 8 months (started 16th MARCH).

My timeline is: -

1. Application recieved for permanent residence on March 16, 2018.
2. Medical results have been received in May.
3. Started processing application on June 28, 2018

I haven't gotten any update since the above last update in June.

Can anyone tell me what the next step would be and when?
