I have seen people in other threads whose application was approved and some of them received their emails in 1,5 months others just took 2 weeks. So who knows when we will receive ours . Ircc is so unpredictable. At this point I think I will be happy as long as my ppr mail comes within the 6 months timeline. I am just two weeks away from reaching the 6 months mark

Where have you been mate? He has got PPR loooong loooong time ago. Once upon a time when our files were in Ottawa office and IRCC used to process June AOR files before September AORs that time he got visa. Its been almost a century years now since we moved to Sydney office,

Love Bro, Thats why I asked that where he is, as he was making a lot of Noise (Read posts) even after he got PPR for various reasons and , which was quite useful and sometimes funny for us and suddenly got disappeared. And thats why I warranted his appearance ... Just on a lighter note

So, on Dec 4th, planning for a trifecta on the same day: Order GCMS -> Send Email(s) -> Call (till some human answers)

Hi all. I got following reply from Minister Ralph's office,

File at : CPC Ottawa

Eligibility is in process.

Criminality passed on Oct 19, 2018

Security have not been initiated. They cannot be expedited and timelines are not available.

Medicals are valid until July 6, 2019.

Wondering why security check has not been started yet. How long does it take to complete security check. When can I expect/expect to get PPR?

My current status is : Background checks are in process.

No one can tell you that. Given that you're in Ottawa .. you are in best position to get it in this month.

I was hoping its a positive trend...Vegreville to Ottawa and then maybe a faster processing of the application (though after 5 months, HOW can they be eh )...but thy words sound ominous!!!
