Thanks, I also got all 3 but nothing by email. First one was on application which I have downloaded after completing the online one. Other two are on BLS receipts. I still can not track my application using CANTxxxxxxxxx on below website.

Are you able to track it on this website? I applied last Thursday so its more than a week.

The tracking number to be used in https://ociservices.gov.in/welcome is the one you found in OCI application form (printed vertically as "File Ref No: CANTxxxxxx" , also found under bar-code in a smaller font size ).

The tracking information will be available from this site - https://ociservices.gov.in/welcome only after you get the OCI acknowledgement.

It took around 10 days for me, No emails ,
you can check BLS tracking site (with BLS-OCI tracking number) to see the status.

Leave the spouse name as blank

Thanks for the reply, thats a mandatory field if I select as "Married". How can we leave it empty?

Here is what I provided.

Online OCI App:
1. Canada Passport bio page
2. India Passport first/last
3. Marriage Certificate

Physical Copies for OCI:
1. Application form with photo
2. Canada passport bio page
3. India passport first and last page
4. Landing Paper notarized copy
5. Citizenship certificate
6. Driving license copy
7. Spouse Canada Passport copy
8. Spouse Landing paper copy

Surrender
1. Completed application form
2. India passport original and first/last copy
3. Citizenship certificate copy
4. Canada passport bio page
5. Driving license copy

All copies self attested (other than the notarized one of course)

Hi, It appears the only original document you provided was the Indian passport. WHen do you get the cancelled passport back?
With the OCI? or earlier?

BTW, They have different specifications for different regions; for toronto the most recent ( oct '18) checklist requires landing paper/COPR
in original.

I have received the cancelled passport already. OCI is still a month away probably.

I have submitted OCI application to BLS on 2nd Oct by post but I got date of ack as 22nd Oct. And today I saw that it has been processed and received at toronto as well.

Registration Status at Mission TORONTO

Documents Printing Status PROCESSED On 15-NOV-2018
Dispatched From MEA (OCI ) NEW DELHI On 15-NOV-2018
Document received At TORONTO On 15-NOV-2018

I think it will take another week to get it in hand. just posting the timeline to help others to estimate their processing time.

Hi, I submitted my OCI application on NOV 01 and when I try to check the status it still shows " No record found" !!! What could be the reason?

It is because your application is not started processing at Consulate. Once they start processing you will see Under Process. Do not worry.
