My GCMS notes from August and November are exactly the same. Wow. Okay. My question is does anybody have any clue about the time it takes for the SECURITY check to get completed? Everything else for me is passed. They’re just not starting my security and it’s not really pleasing.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

How long it took to get approved ? My work permit will be expiring in March 2019, should i apply for new open at the end of December 2018?

Yes I did extend my work permit two times during the processing time, if you submit online will be take 3 months to process.

I did it two times. It takes two months for them to issue new work permits. Each time I got a work permit extension for one year.
If you will apply in December or even in January, you will be fine.

Thanks, I'm Sep 2017 applicant. I think i will wait until 1st or 2nd week of January.
If i don't get my PPR request till that time, i will go for work permit. My work permit is expiring at the end of March 2019.

Is it called BOWP?

Yes it called BWOP and it only gives you 1 year, but you can apply couple times.
