hey did you receive any update from delhi visa office, we have the same timeline. my file was transferred on sep 7 too.

Here is my experience re; updates on GCkeys In Canada they usually do on early mornings Tuesdays. However this coming Tuesday there may not be any updates, in such cases they may do updates on Thursday mornings. An e-mail usually comes on Sundays. NDVO has no fixed days but they have night shifts for updating things [All above is just as per past experience but I could be wrong ]

Anything WRONG in my signatures below please let me know so that I can modify ... I found a jack who blamed me for giving inaccurate info; however info was right as per few years back; Thus not totally wrong. Even said sorry but noway! So I had to add those words in my Signatures ! I like all NDVO members and wish them all a very quick family re-union as Canada IRCC policy says so too Cheers !!.

YEA Mithra as I said no updates came in my GCkeys or ecas. Lets wait past this SUNDAY then for us in Canada 4 any updates it could be on Thursdays mornings i;e; only if they decide to do Mtc. We can easily see that NOTE on GCKEYS too. NDVO updates can happen anytime, more likely nights.

My friend whose last name is same as his spouse. They are Applying soon! Cic will bring any questions on that? Will cic question on genuineness of relationship. Although it’s very genuine. They were not relatives before

Names matching; if it creates a doubt like MOC they will x-check with a diff section, but if she got husband's last name after marriage on PPT etc.. not a problem at all. Also if last names match by chance it should not matter.

This depends...some Indian communities have abused the system so badly ..bringing in their cousins etc under spouse visa ...as a result others are suffering due to this. I don't want to name these communities...but yes as far as I've heard from my in laws (settled in Canada since late 70s) ppl hailing from these places especially one in particular go through extra scrutiny.

Agree partially as fake marriages sponsorship have happened from all countries we should not point out one. I read stories from many countries applicants arrive and look 4 divorce, Sometimes Sponsor is honest other cases both are fake. As you said in some parts they learn from others how to get here and is more common.

Any jan 2018 applicant got any update this week

No.. but heard many March and aprAp applicants got PPR.. probably because the checklist has changed in Feb. So that's why past Feb aplicaappl are getting processed faster
