Thanks! The processing times are definitely improving. I only submitted the application 9 months ago but there are a a few additional things they didn't ask for which I included with updates I submitted so that may have made the processing faster. Good luck for your application as well.

Did the email come from CIO Syndey or from your local visa office? Which visa office processed your application? Did you ever receive a file transfer email from CIO to your local visa office?

Thanks. I'm from UAE. The visa office I've been communicating with is London so I assume they processed it.

No, I didn't receive a file transfer email. Only emails I got was for medical request, additional information requested, passport submission and pre-arrival services.

Update - DM - application approved. Visa issued and passport on its way back to me. Timeline:-

• Sent application - Feb 18
• AOR - Apr 18
• Additional documents requested, medical request, RPRF, invitation to pre-arrival services and PPR - Oct 18
• VIsa issued - Nov 18

Looks like applications are getting processed faster now. You should hear back from them before the end of the year based on my observations.

Thanks. It was a helluva lot faster than I anticipated but I guess I'll have to roll with it. lol.

I spoke to a few other people who applied between Jan and April and they're all in the end stages now. Fingers crossed for everyone

Our immigration specialist advised us to do so - we're going to book an appointment this month (application / Aug 18 - AOR / Sept 18).

I don't know but why would you go for a medical before it's requested?

In order to save any time possible... In our case, we asked for an urgent processing, and each day we can save, the better it is.

I am an Iranian freelance graphic designer with about 17 years work experience in this, and applied the visa about 4 months ago, whenever you believe or not unfortunately many Iranian’s applications refused by the Warsaw-Poland office, I have been worried about this for my application , I assigned a professional immigration consultant (iccrc). My application is in proccessing step and I did the biometrics about 2 weeks ago. would you mind telling me about the next step?
