Spousal sponsorship

I am new here and need help filling the form for spouse visa. I am the sponsor, I understand i have to fill only two forms: IMM 1344 and IMM 5532 and me and my spouse (applicant) will fill IMM 5532..correct?

On the IMM 0008 (Generic application), Does my spouse (Applicant) need to fill in my personal details(sponsor) under Dependants? I am already a PR and reside in Canada.

Also we don't know what to put on question 3 "how many family members including you are on this application?"

Should i include myself and put "2" or just the applicant "1"

I will appreciate if someone can help me out with my question.

First you will get your eligibility cleared and then Back ground check followed by PPR. I would expect something (pre arrival email) in January 2019 with your timeline. Good luck!

Hey thanks alot just remember I already got the Eligiblity clearance aswell
Now my GCkey account says we will let u know when we start background check.
My file was transferred in june as I already mentioned.

Does anyone know how to begin the process of marrying a Mexican national who is here in Canada on a 6 month visitor visa? Our goal is to make a life together here in Canada.
1) Should we marry before he goes home? Is that possible?
2) If we marry in Mexico later, what is process to bring him back here as a permanent resident?

Its really strange, some people have gotten to the next steps alot quicker. I have been following this tracker:

then there is google doc:

go to the summary tab to see how many applications are in each stage of the process.

The doc is better I think, you can see 1 application submitted in June has got its PR card already.

I am hoping for some good news soon too.

Nope, I got a confirmation that it was moved to the London office, but after that it has been silent.
Even the online linked status hasn't updated.

I am sponsoring my wife from India.For Police clearance, Should I attach original PCC obtained from PSK, Delhi or even a scanned copy would do in paper application ?

I won my appeal just received an email from ottawa requesting police check medical and application kit does that mean once i send this is my application going to be processed in ottawa even though we applied outland? also is this normal do they ask everone an update of application kit do i have to send more documents and proves or just an update of application kit plz answer me

Please submit ONLY ORIGINAL of PCC as we did so. They would like to see ORIGINAL as per my experience

It sounds if they asking application kit?!! If sometings were proven in appeal and affected the application forms may be YES U have to submit thou I never dealt with an appeal in past. Please wait for few seniors to reply OR post same Qs in this form:-
