Ok so in the admissibilities section under security, the updated date is when your file was assinged for SS. And in the sub activities, the updated date is when your SS started. now the question for us here is that if the clock starts from the date when file is assinged for SS or when they actually started the security. Because if it is from when they started the security then we are stuffed. And nah no news from my end bro, it's all pretty quite at the moment. And nah I didn't order any more notes either.
Yeah, so technically CBSA didn’t touch my file for 6 months after they received it. I doubt they’ll start the clock from when it’s assigned, they’ll probably start it from when the screening actually started. Follows the same logic I’m assuming as how they don’t count processing time from AOR rather from when R10 is done. Thanks for clarifying this for me, it helps to know where I stand so I manage my expectations. Good luck for the both of us. Do update if anything changes on your end.

Yeah but you see people who have been in security screening, their remed request came after 10 months from the assinged date. That's why I'm hoping for us to be finalised sooner rather than later. Though saying that, you can't expect anything from these IRCC lot. And yeah will definitely update once I've heard anything back.
As per current trend, SS takes around 9-12 months. Remeds will come soon, keep your mind occupied with other things, if you've come so far there is little more to go

Lool yeah man that's all I'm thinking at the moment. By the way is it 9-12 months from when the file is assign for SS or when CBSA starts the security check. So far no one has been able to answer this question . But the trend that I have seen is 10-11 months from the IP2 date.
Hi guys
I've just found here and i want to share my case with you.
my AOR is 12 October 2017. Visa office : Paris . medical expired 23 September!( no news so far)
security check started 13 July 2018! mine (as the main applicant!) passed the same day; my husband is still in progress.
yesterday we received the GCMS note that shows a total of 6 activities under Security ( 1 under my name and the rest is for him ) all of them are blank (erased actually).
It's so frustrating. each day passes with no news (((
do you thing ordering CSIS & CBSA notes would be useful/ more informative?

It seems to be taking an average 10 months now, but it really varies greatly from one person to another. I’ve seen people passing it in 3 months and others spending over a year. Being picked for it could be due to a long travel history, countries of origin being from certain troubled areas in the world, or just purely random. Order CBSA notes to have a clearer idea though.

Bro guess what, I was just going through the LVO forum and noticed that the Pakistani citizens based in Pakistan are getting PPR in 3-4 months time. Whilst people like me based in the UK are still freaking waiting. How mofo ridiculous!!!

I’ve been under SS for 6 months now. Last time I checked, 4 activities under Security. I’m asking for another GCMS note which will come back in 10 days.
How long have you waited till there are more activities?
Hopefully things will be done in another 4 months. My medical is about to expire this month.

And the UK already shares info with Canada. Had there been any issues, you wouldn’t have been issued your UK visa in the first place. The process doesn’t make sense to me anymore. Files sitting for 6 months without even being touched is just crazy. Anyway, I’m still hoping for the best. Nothing I can do but be optimistic and hope for a decision soon.

Exactly bro, that's why I was dumfounded. And not just that, I've got British PR as well. This process really doesn't make any sense to me at all on any level. Then there's people sitting in Pakistan and London Visa office is issuing PPR's for them in 3 and 4 months time. Speechless!!

Ahh mate no idea at all because I ordered my 2nd sets of GCMS after my security had already begun. So it had 4 activities on it. Are you counting 10 months from the date when you file was assigned for SS or from when CBSA started your screening? Its been 6 months for me as well since the start of this pain in the backside.
