Dear All,
I am new in this stage (got CSQ yesterday - june 2016 QSW applicant) and could someone be so kind to tell me the sequence of steps of the federal stage (i know that it starts from sending application to Nova Scotia and then...).
And one more question: how long in average does it lasts to get medical request since application and how much time do you have to submit medicals.

Thanks and best to all,
Vahan
It all depends. Its a case to case basis. Some of April 2017 just got their Medical requests and we are April 2018 applicants, we already had our Medicals after a nonth and pre arrival this October. Btw, I processed inside Canada. Thanks

THANKS. I can only use this space to check status after getting UCI.

Thanks.
have you got any thing from CIC such as work permit, study permit or even visitor visa. There are UCIs there. The UCI is life-time same to the same person.

Which number have you used from outside canada to call CIC? I am in west Africa and would like to call CIC.
I am in canada right now but i was born in India. You can’t reach them over the phone from outside Canada.

Hi Friends,

Am I just getting a feeling or are things really moving at a faster rate now. My 18 months get over on 8th November. Does the NDVO really work on processing applications within 18 months and is that the reason why all things are moving faster now? I have checked details of many applicants till now and thats my overall observation. You friends can tell me more. Please do. Thank you!

My Details:
Application Filed: 8th May 2017
AOR Received: 29th July 2017
MR Received: 16th October 2018
Medicals Done: 24th October 2018
Additional Medical Request Done: 27th October 2018
Medicals Passed: 31st October 2018
Now waiting for PPR (When do you think I will get PPR)?

To be honest, your application is already late. You just got your Medical Request on your 17th month, where the Federal applicants who lodged April 2018, already got their MR on their 6th month. How come? Did you order GCMS notes? What’s taking so long for your application?

Well, honestly, I too completely agree with your point that there has been an extreme delay. It's just that from October 16th we started getting immediate updates so we felt nice. My wait for CSQ was also a bit too much, 5 years. And no I have not ordered for GCMS notes as I got to know on one of the platforms here that only permanent residents or citizens can apply for it. Unfortunately I don't have any such contacts.
Anyway, can you please suggest me what I should do now? Should I just write an email or wait? Are there any other options? Please guide. Thank you.

Just one more point. On July 31st I had written an email to them to which they had sent the typical auto reply which many discuss about over here. I received the reply on August 17th and it stated that my application is in progress and that they would contact me if I need anything. So, requesting you to please help me on what I can do. And thank you so much for your immediate reply.

You are very welcome my dear! We are here to help each other. What I can suggest is, if you dont have any access to GCMS notes is- you can use the webform or better call them on their hotline- 1 (888) 242-2100. Call them at 8am EST coz they tend to be busy at times.
