my husband recently got Canadian citizenship, he is applying for my Candian PR. Will his canadian citizenship help in my visa process? Will the visa process time be reduced? I am from Pakistan so will it help in my visa case?

We are still waiting for the result of our application but my wife is planning to go back to the Philippines. She's currently living in Dubai and that's where we processed our application. Is coming home a good idea while waiting for the update (hopefully, a passport request)? Will there be an issue if her passport gets requested and she's in the Philippines instead of being in Dubai? Thanks

May be should update on ecas with her new address. OR dont take a risk send her back 4 the PPR

It's good to be a Citizen but he won't get priority or fast track being a Citizen. Other benefit if he likes to stay with you for long time while PR cannot easily overstay out of country.
And demerit of being Citizen can be NOT sure he may lose some rights back home like VISA for homeland, Voting, property buying selling things like that.

Hi guys,
Our application received on January, after tomorrow my wife will have an interview. I went through the forms I sent and released that I did an error date of engagement ceremony instead of 2017 i put 2016 other than that all correct the dates we met for the 1st time , wedding...Do you think that this error will delay the processing or we will be asked to submit that form again... ?

I want to travel outside of canada and i have my work permit right now
How do i apply for travel visa?
I tried searching on cic website but its very confusing
If anyone has a link that they can forward me or help i would really appericiate it

When I check the status online though (wasn't able to link my application, so Im using theior online tool), it says my application is still in progress. Does it mean it got approved?

Yes, passport request is the final step before issuing COPR. It will change to decision made once they issue the visa (after they receive your passport and photos). Congrats!
