I received a ghost update on October 23. I was expecting PPR mail in a day or two . But I didnot get any email . To clarify my doubts ,I called CIC on October 25 and the agent was very helpful . Unlike other people in the forum who were told by agent that they need to wait till completion of 6 months, I was told that my application has been finalized and confirmed if I received any email requesting passport. I told that I am also waiting for the same. So,he further admitted that the mail has been triggered from their end and should reach me in 5 working days . If not,they are there to help. What should I do in this case?
I think many others have the same status where email has not reached them. Might be there is some issue with that schedular prepared for sending our emails.
Do you know about your criminality and security status? My IP2 is October 23 but yesterday agent told me security not started. So I am preparing myself for a longer wait.
As of Oct 5 not started but went to IP2 on oct 15 and Ghost update on Oct 18th.. Was hoping for a ppr by this weekend so didn't bother to call them till now.. Looks like that's not the case so planning to call them on Monday.. Will update you about it.. Don't worry u might get PPR soon too
The agent can say what he / she wants. As per protocol of IRCC standard procedure if you get RPRF at fag end ( as in your case ) it means everything is complete and application has been approved. No one can tell from here on when PPR mail gets triggered (anytime between 4 to 6 weeks max, plz note MAX)
Your application is approved so sit tight n relax. You will get your PR 100% sure!

I called CIC yesterday. The agent said our Eligibility is met but the background check is yet to start.
Though he mentioned the same thing what has been updated in my account. the only addition was "Eligibility has been met".
My application just went into IP2 on OCT 26th.

No. They won't be doing so till the time there is a problem with your documents. I would suggest calling CIC to take an update. It's just that we need to wait for at least 30 mins but they do respond.
And they will also confirm your VO. For mine, he mentioned it is Ottawa.
