Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2018

Friends..my application was received on 17 aug 2018 at Ottawa as per canada post...with my application,I sent pcc for my parents both like Indian pcc from Indian consulate and Canadian pcc from rcmp as my parents are here on super visa for around 2 years now..but now there are planning to go to India for around 3 months...my question is while they are in india , if we get aor and medical ,will they be asked to send another pcc from india and canada....pls suggest..

Yes, they had to get a new PCC from india as CIC will ask you to send the PCC for the time they spend out there.

As for as gettin PCC from Canada - you shouldn't be gettin for that time... pls see below link

Hi All

Per Ecas my Mom passed her medical test last Oct 17th.

what do you see exactly there?

When I checked the CIC status online a decision has been made on her permanent resident application.
you can see that in E-CASE only

However on ECAS, her case is still in process.
I would just like to check if anyone here is on the same situation as my Mom and how may days/months it will take for us to receive the PPR.

Any help will be appreciated, thank you!

Hello Guys ,
Please , there is some confusion about how we can link an application to an online account . Can anyone who has done this step explain to us how exactly he or she has linked it . what UCI number should we be using ? UCI number of the principal applicant or the sponsor ?? the other information like date of birth, for the applicant or the sponsor ????
the number of family members, how can we count it ? is it the sponsor and co signer and kids plus the the main applicant and the dependent ??
or kids are not counted ??? or the dependent are not counted, just the main applicant with the sponsor and the co signer and the kids ??
I feel it should not be that difficult , yet I have not found any clear description of it anywhere !!
Please if someone knows how it should be done , explain to me and to the people who I am sure they will find it difficult to link their applications .

So I successfully linked my mom’s application to my cic account just now after few weeks of trying. Here’s what worked for me:

Application number
Mom’s last name
Passport details
Intended province and city to live in
Number of family member: me, my husband and my mom = 3 bec she has no dependent.
I hope this one helps.

do you think I should put the number 8 assuming this will be the total , or should I put 4 which means kids are not included ???

Thanks ali_2018...just a small doubt..the first Indian pcc I sent with application is dated 7 august and it's valid for 6 months I think...so my parents are coming back from india to canada on 6 Feb 2019...dont you think the pcc will still be valid as it's less than 6 months ...
