Q1: No I didn't submit a business plan. I just provided a synopsis of what I would be doing once I arrived.
Q2: I didn't find this information anywhere but I expect this process to last over a year anyway. Processing time last time I checked was 35 months.
Q3. It's the same as mentioned on their website for FSW for 1 person, 2 persons, 3 persons and so on and so forth.
Dear Sir,
I am a graphic designer. I intend to go through the self-employed. I'd be happy to send you a business plan to take advantage of that template.
I was looking for some help in this area. Does anyone have any experience of, or know if it's possible, to apply for Express Entry using a combination of self employed and employee based work, all within one NOC code?

I tried to do that initially but the system kept referring me to the self employed program as a more suitable option but if you're currently on employee based work at the time of application, it should be fine to go through.
Congrats guys!
I just had 2 questions:
1) as to what documents you provided for the "relevant experience" section.
A portfolio or a narrative or something else?
2) And did you pay the entire fees include PR fees in advance?
Q1 - I provided a narrative and links to portfolio. As it was a paper application, I wasn't about to print out over 100 pages of my portfolio.
Q2 - You can if you want to. I just paid the application fee and paid the other fee when it was requested a few weeks ago.
Thanks! The processing times are definitely improving. I only submitted the application 9 months ago but there are a a few additional things they didn't ask for which I included with updates I submitted so that may have made the processing faster. Good luck for your application as well.

I've read that if they see a huge amount of money at once in your account, it looks suspicious to them so maybe add explanation letter about why there's such a huge amount deposited at once.
Hello, I'm not sure if the rules are a little different for Quebec, but I didn't see the need for a lawyer. For some of the questions I did refer to message boards to ask for help, but most of them were pretty straight forward.
