Guys the processing time is changed to 18 months now....
God knows how many years will we have to wait
why did they do this if their goal was to decrease the processing time??

On September 28, 2018, we have received our pre-departure letter along with an update on my travel history. We sent the update on October 02, 2018. When do you guys think we will be asked for medical and also what does this pre-departure letter really mean?

I’m in the same boat. I read some ppl could get open work permit. But most of ppl said we should apply by having a job offer from QC which is closed work permit

I got exactly the same request last week. I applied in March 2017. Unfortunately, I think this is a start of the long security screening process. Maybe 6-7 months of waiting or maybe more!!

Well, the federal stage takes for some of us a little bit of time.
it is according to your visa office. so no precise time for the processing
