I have a question about POE - appreciate if anyone help me.

There is no direct flight from my India to reach either Saskatoon or Regina, I have to land either at Vancouver, Toronto or Calgary to reach final destination.
Do I have to go through the CBSA and Immigration at Vancouver, Toronto or Calgary and one of these airports are considered as Point of Entry for SINP nominee in Canada ?

Yes, one of these airports will be your port of entry. As long as you can prove you have a connecting flight to Saskatchewan you will be fine

Thanks a lot SithLord. I booked my tickets and the date is 19 Jan that is a connecting flight Delhi -Toronto - Saskaton.

So my port of entry would be Toronto ?

Yes they have closed for sure..already 6039 issued..and rest 600 must be in processing

Unfortunately I quite agree with you. So sad for people like me with 435 and been waiting since march ending. Submitted an EOI for Manitoba recently and will also wait till January 2019 for Ontario. Anyone that comes through first. Fingers crossed. Won't give up.

Why there is a discrepancy between the total number of nominations issued and NOIs? The total NOIs issued are less than 6000 but the number of nominations granted is above 6000. It should’ve vice versa as not all NOIs get accepted for nomination.

About 2k nominations issued this year are based on NOIs sent in Q4 of 2017, and hence the discrepancy.

Ontario is only sending NOI to French speakers/job offer now

It's easy for you to say that after you got PR. People like me, don't have a chance. No job offer, no knowledge in French and no master's degree, nothing but a 9 CLB IELTS. Looks like i am stuck in India. Might look for Singapore.

No hope at all. I have 438 CRS score and I didn't get anything from OINP or ITA. Might as well look for other options.
