When they ask for the passport, is for visa issuance. The visa would expire

When the passport is requested, it will let you know what's required. Mostly though, they need the passport, and like 2 PR Card-specification photos.
(When you go to VFS office, u can get the photos done there for a cost if u dont have em.)
Visa is valid until the expiry of medical, which is 1 yr from date of medical exams. Most people who get ppr submit it right away so they can be done with it quickly. Don't wait long and submit as soon as you can once passport is requested.

Probably some canadian officers fly in from nearby offices to do a round of interviews in pakistan (for example they could come in from dubai or abu dbabi, etc) since these people refuse to stay in pakistan in the name of security. Not sure of the frequencies of such visits.

Best thing to do is to order GCMS electronic notes and send them the info/proof required so that they can waive it and process it quicker.
Really not fair to cancel interviews and reschedule them causing more delays for applicants.

Not at all..
May be long bgc files are dusting in lost & found room ..

Thanks Aries69. Please do you see any member here that applied through Quebec on family class? I am just looking for timeline for those who apply for spouse sponsorship and also apply for Quebec selection their timeline please.

Dear I knew one fellow who applied under family class via quebec. They applied in November, 2017 and no new yet from LVO. I applied in 3rd January, 20018 and no news from LVO.

I applied in April 2018 and submitted my CSQ certificate to LVO 18th September 2018.
When did you send out your CSQ certificate to LVO? Did you get response from them?

Only one payment is made for CCB, into the account of any parent. (I'd prefer child's mother's account). You have to provide CRA with the account information so they can deposit it into that.
You can apply as soon as possible (maybe even online), and make sure u also apply for SIN# of the child, if not already done so.

Order case notes (GCMS - electronic notes) if not already done so.
I'm guessing that once they receive new medical results they may finalize your case. Send them a webform iquiry about medical results, maybe that will get it moving. It's unfortunate that Afghan/Pakistan files take longer than everything else to get moving. Keep praying and inshAllah it will be soon.

Can any one tell me validity of police clearance certificates I am in situation where after wining appeal they asked me updated forms and police reports .after wining appeal I did my police report upfront and they asked me after 2 and half months later and now I need some time to prepare other documents some one told me police clearance has to be issued less than 3 months what should I do can I submit my police clearance now before 3 months over and send them other documents before 60 days they gave me which will be up on 5th December any advice plz ?

i think it is valid for 6 months from the date of issue if taken from lahore
