My friend is here in Canada as protected person but now she got positive decision to sponsor her husband outside canada. She is Pr now. But she is on welfare . is there any problem with application of husband . Bcz she is sponsoring ????

Please explain positive decision means? The one on welfare can not sponsor. And CIC is very strict on that.

What does it mean ????

It means they have cancelled the remaining interviews That were supposed to be held in this trip. They will give you new date in the next quarter. It’s unfortunate but nothing you can do

Any1 get sponsored by wife who got positive DM to sponsor her husband but she is on social assistance.
Any suggestions

My wife approved as sponsor but before that she had to stop her welfare. CIC is very strict on that. We should have very strong reason to satisfy CIC that why we take welfare. In 99.99% cases CIC refuses.

Any July 2018 got file transfer to Local Visa Office (LVO)?? Also since they've changed the address for out land applicant from Ontario to Nova Scotia in August 2018, the Local Visa Office for Pak is now Abu Dhabhi. Anyone please check on that?

I would like to get some information regarding passport request letter. I have received the letter today but my husband lives in Rahim Yar khan which is far from Lahore and isb. We called theVFS number but they didn’t give any Sirf of information except to email isb embassy. I’m 36 weeks pregnant and I really want my husband to fly here in Toronto. I need guidance what do next and who to contact.

My brother applied in June 2018 and he didn’t hear anything from cic and his application went to Nova Scotia. If anyone can help me out here

I had my lawyers sent in my spousal sponsorship application on June 19th. Since then we have not received any communication whatsoever.

I am sponsoring my wife who is in Islamabad.

Anyone in the same boat? More than 3 months and no AOR? Is this normal or should I ask my lawyers to send a letter or something to IRCC Mississauga?

Did you guys apply for a spousal application? If you did when? Whats your timeline now?

I guess your best bet is to apply for a visit visa, Provide the embassy with proof that you are pregnant, and that you don't feel well emotionally and you need husband to be there with you, Maybe get some recommendation from doctor or a psychologist that you are very depressed and thats not good for your or baby's health and you really want your husband to be there. Pin all that with the visit visa application and apply while hoping for the best??
I've heard from my lawyer that some people get approved if they provide a solid enough reason especially in pregnancy

I applied in June 2018 as well, i got a letter a few weeks later saying that the application had been forwarded to LVO. But then I got my sponsor approval letter from Sydney in August.

there are so many June and July 2017 applicants whose interviews at Islamabad got canceled.
They all received their cancellation emails on Thurs Oct 11th, 2018.
What is your TIMELINE. When your interview was scheduled?

yes all June and July 2017 applicants whose interviews were scheduled in Oct 2017 are now canceled.
So far i have not received any email notification. Mine is on Thurs Oct 25th. lets see.
