My friend is here in Canada as protected person but now she got positive decision to sponsor her husband outside canada. She is Pr now. But she is on welfare . is there any problem with application of husband . Bcz she is sponsoring ????

if she has already been approved as sponsor by CIC then its fine. now that she is approved to be sponsor, LVO will check the Husband (applicants) eligibility

none that i know of. right now they are handling oct, nov, dec 2017 applications mostly.

they are probably still working on those, i am just speaking from the applicants who recently got PPR are from Oct-Dec

We don’t know that for sure sometimes it comes same day, sometimes the next day and it can take a month too. But hopefully you will get it very soon. If you have gckey account you should check that you might have it already there

@posse They have worked on that, but a lot of them are stuck in background check. Tbh, they should have mentioned the time as 1 year to prove relationship genuineness and 1 year for security screening. Felt so bad after 12 months completion and no sign of PPR.

My file got transferred to LVO on 27th June since then no reply. Anyone with the same timeline??

you are correct. i wish we knew what exactly they are checking and what causes longer BGC so we can be prepared. my wifes BGC took 2 days basically while others BGC have taken more than 5 months in some cases.
