My wife got her new card. Mailed application on May 28th, card received yesterday October 4th. No communication from IRCC in the meantime.

Did you re submitted second time on urgent basis?

Yes, I attached a flight ticket leaving Canada on Oct 25th, but the agent on the phone told me my urgent request was declined.

3. We started processing your application on September 24, 2018.
4. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on October 4, 2018.

2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on September 29, 2018.
3. We started processing your application on September 29, 2018.
4. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on October 4, 2018.

Have u received the card? Thankfully canada post strike is deferred as of now and I am wondering when the post arrives in Toronto ,which should be in 4/5 days . Keep us posted when u get it.

Hi guys,

I've been tracking this thread to see how the timeline goes.

My PR card renewal application was received on June 25th.

I have an upcoming flight booked to visit back home for Nov 3rd.
Seeing that it's been taking well over 90 days, I'm getting hopeless...

Note that applying for PRTD is not an option for me as I'll be staying in my home country just about 2 weeks.

Nope... I talked to a call centre agent last Friday and he just said that it's in process. Hopefully what he told me was true... but I haven't seen any new update on ecas nor received AOR.

I would be pretty desperate if they actually don't start processing by the end of this week. I've got less than 4 weeks til my flight now.

One should not buy ticket unless schedule is fixed or extreme emergency. Nowadays non refundable tickets add to anxiety too. Better to buy ticket a few days before departure scheduled which may b a couple of hundred dollars expensive . Hopefully you will receive within next week as 11 sep applicants were sent cards on October 4,unless your card is sent to CIC local office which adds two/ three weeks
