Hi Im from Ph too. Are u for PNP? May i ask How did u know that your application is being processed in Manila? Also, what is your AOR? Thanks and Goodluck.
Just want to ask how long does background check usually last? They started our background check last sept 20. We are being processed at manila local visa office. Most people who got background check last sept 20 in the philippines already have passport request. Only 7 of us are left and it is making me so paranoid that there is something wrong with our applications. What are the chances of getting denied at this stage? Chance of getting interviewed eventhough gckey states "you do not need an interview"? Thank you
It seems MAY 2018 AOR candidates either most of them have received PPR or frustrated to participate in forum. do i am only left from MAY AOR and still in IP1.

Under family class-conjugal app . We never received AOR but was able to link our app in gckey last june 21. Cpc-missisauga sent us an email regarding file transfer to manila office last july 5. According to our ecas and gcms notes they started processing our app last july 10 but it was quiet for 2months and 10days before our background check started sept 20. Also, manila visa office sent us an email last sept 30 regarding about virtual career online fair.
You mean, I can expect to get back my passport earlier than two weeks? Is it because of the present status shown on the tracking site (showing that my documents are under process now)?

I mean you should relax. Expect your passport to be returned in no distant time. Give it two weeks at least judging by the trend. Although other people reported that theirs lasted more than two weeks, but the two weeks seems to be the average turnaround time.
