Hey just to let you know when I called them I got the contact information of the evaluator so i reached out to him directly via email. My application was in QA (last stage) and they found a glitch with one missing field (yes or no question) in my form which was not that critical for changing the final report outcome and the answer was intuitive based on other questions and license information on form. I explained to the evaluator that the answer to this field is obvious and the evaluator mentioned he needs that in writing. He was very helpful and accepted the answer via email from my nursing council (glad saved another 3 month headache from submitting the new form and processing it).
Thanks for the update ,I will call them again ,hope to get evaluator contact info so that I can direct my queries there.

Hi everyone!

I am currently on the process of registering with CNO. I hold a RN license from Illinois. I have recently received a letter fro CNO asking for the date when I passed my NCLEX. Illinois Board of Nursing had already sent them my verification of registration. However, this doesn't suffice what their asking. I even wrote IL BON to send them a copy of my registration but the latter just sent my verification of registration instead. I've tried contacting BON to ask how to go about this and they said they only provide the verification of my license and the date it was issued, not the date I passed NCLEX RN. I am baffled and clueless on where to get the information. Pearsonvue doesn't provide it either. Any advice regarding this or has anyone on the same boat as mine? Thank you!!!
Am not sure whether this help, but when i applied for the same from Florida Board of nursing, they had a separate form which was like a consent which had to be notarized and send along with the reglar application. I had applied for the verification online, but mailed the notarized authorization to them. maybe you can check in the website if Illianos Board of Nursing has something similar.

Hi Group this may be my last post. I just have a few things to add before i go.
I joined this forum to learn and see what others are going through and to be honest i have had negative as well as positive responses from other applicants on this very same forum. Listen guys we are from all over the world joined by this forum.
I am from the Caribbean, Jamaica to be exact. I did my nursing program of 3yrs bachelor in Jamaica, my nursing experience in Jamaica of 5yrs too. I did my NCLEX in the states in 2016 and passed. This process has taken some time:
I applied in August 2016 to NNAS
Report issued March 2017 Non Comparable 50%
Jursidiction Exam done March 2017
I wrote letters and called as i heard nothing after that
OSCE directions given Feb 2018
Passed OSCE, Very Well

I didnt attend any classes or anything like that. I studied and practiced and simply applied myself to the scenarios.

The process is a lengthy one so be prepared for that. If you dont hear anything or if you're unsure write and call CNO.

I was so discouraged from some of the feedback i got here some stated that i would need "First World Experience" , rubbish once you are a confident nurse, knowledgeable and know how to relate to patients you will be fine. believe in yourself. Seek help if you think you need it and do your best.

1 tip send all the documents you know they are going to need dont wait if you know they are going to need them as this will only result in delays in your processing.

Thanks for your feedback really appreciate it. I too got a noncomparable report from NNAS. At this point I have my jurisprudence exam to sit and it seems so overwhelming. Do you have any advice or words of encouragement you wish to share re:jurisprudence.
All the best and thanks.

I have received an update on October 3rd from CNO in the message stating I have competency gaps and I need to go through OSCE for evaluation (which i expected). They mentioned that they have forwarded my details to To Touchstone institute and they will contact me via email to set up registration for that evaluation. However, I have not received any email from Touchstone so far.

Do i need to wait for their email? Or contact Touchstone directly myself.

Also, kindly provide me with some helpful links materials if any one has for preparing OSCE. Thanks and appreciate your help.

I am planning to take OSAP. Is there any problem to work 40 hours a week ?
check with the education specialist at your school... i think if you are a full time student taking OSAP, then max you can work is 20 hrs... but confirm with the education consultalt or financial advisor at your school...
