I’m an October 12 applicant and my bcg check started on February 1 after transfer to LVO. I got a PFL letter yesterday asking for more proof of relationship. Any thoughts on whether this might mean my bcg check is done?

It’s in process since May 2018 as far as I know coz I haven’t linked my application before so probably even before May 2018.

It could have been done long ago. As long as your eligibility is not passed you will not get dm even if your background checks are done.

what kind of relationship proof did they ask for? also what proof did you send initially with the application?
i am beginning to think that it is best if all applicants send relationship proof voluntarily during the process. whatsapp chat logs, gift receipts, money transfer receipts etc.

@posse .. my BGC have been in process since sept 26th .. i got a confirmation email from LVO .. just waiting for it to finish up now ..
I have lost faith in the system. Honestly, there needs to be some kind of reform regarding the current circumstances. It’s ridiculous to let hundreds of paperless individuals claiming refugee status from European countries into Canada every single day yet they make it impossible for us to be with our loved ones through legitimate means. I just don’t get it. I don’t know what kind of game this is, I know my rant won’t solve anything but I am just so so so disappointed. I feel as though our lives are on hold and regardless of how optimistic we strive to be there is always that fear, every single day. It’s psychological torture.

yet these ppl dont care .. i had written a long email to everyone .. including the PM .. koi faida nahi .. phir kehtay hain kay medical system pay booj ziada par gaya hai .. i wonder why? all of us are going into the depression mode .. and alot of the ladies are having miscarriages .. hudd hogayi hai waisay ..
