Just did this today(well, reactivated my old one)
Take your paper work permit, and your passport to a Service Canada location. They will assist you, and provide you with a SIN.

I applied for Common Law PR and OWP - CPC MISSISSAUGA
App. delivered: July. 12, 2018 (Police certificate and Schedule A submitted upfront).
App. returned: Aug. 21, 2018 (small thiks for fix)
App. delivered: Aug. 24, 2018
App. returned: Oct. 2, 2018 (taxes on wrong format)
App. delivered: Oct. 3, 2018
Waiting for information from CIC...

I really hope we get some good news this week. Starting to get restless as I am not used to sitting around at home. On the other hand my wife is really Happy, she got a full time house keeper and a driver......

My Immigration Consultant just informed me that my OWP was approved today.
** App received on June 25, 2018
** AOR received on August 4, 2018
** OWP approved on October 3, 2018

Hi everyone, I sumbmitted an inland spousal application along with OWP by mail sent Xpresspost on June 14th, 2018. I received an email on July 27th, 2018 that my application has been received on June 18th, 2018 and that it is “in process”. I have yet to receive anymore news. I am just wondering if any one has received more information who has similar dates to my application and when the work permit may be approved? Thank you in advance!

Have you linked your applications in your MyCIC account?
If everything is in order your OWP should be approved around this time, perhaps another week max.

I tried multiple times to do it but I’m having difficulty linking it. I might call tomorrow and see if they can help me.
