Hey everyone,

I had my lawyers sent in my spousal sponsorship application on June 19th. Since then we have not received any communication whatsoever.

I am sponsoring my wife who is in Islamabad.

Anyone in the same boat? More than 3 months and no AOR? Is this normal or should I ask my lawyers to send a letter or something to IRCC Mississauga?

We mailed it out early july & still no word...good luck!

I SEND IN ENGLISH ALONG WITH NADRA MARRIAGE REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE BUT AFTER I SEND URDU TOO NOW AGAIN THEY ASK FOR URDU NIKAH NAMA PLUS WHTS MEAN ATTESTED ?

were they both stamped? there are usually 2-3 different stamps, if the urdu was a copy or if english was a copy, the copy needs to have a "attested" stamp that its true

Nowadays they are taking a lot of time for the Acknowledgement letter . No idea why . My friend is also June applicant, nothing for her as well - Good luck

You married in pakistan right? You must have made a nikkah nimma (The original doc that you guys sign) send a copy (attested copy from the notary) of that along with a copy of your nadra marriage certificate.


When did your file transfer to LVO?

I am january 2018 too but I haven't heard anything after my medical

Dude, Just go to the notary with your original nikkah nama and your nadra marriage certificate.

Make xerox copies of them both and then go to any para legal, ask him that you want to get a "Certified English Translation" if your nikah nama (If it's in urdu). Now you have with you 3 docs:
1. Copy of original Nikkah nama.
2. Certified English Translation / True Translation of your Nikkah nama.
3. Copy of Nadra Marriage certificate.

Now ask the para legal to stamp Document number 1 and 3 with the following:
True Copy, Attested (from Notary public).
And the 2nd Document (True Translation of your nikkah nama):
Attested (from Notary public)
