sent application for Quebec selection certificate on 02/08/2018, now it almost 2 months since sent mine application
I listened that they just took 25 days but in my case they already took 2months and still didn't received Quebec selection certificate?

On GCMS notes, there are initial and due dates mentioned for every stage like Criminality, Eligibility, Medical and Security.
Is this security due date actually the background check result due date? @posse @Carl_johnson and experienced members???

How does one find out if the background check has started in London, if you haven't signed up for GCKEY and use ECAS? Do you have to call IRCC every few days and listen to the automated message?

background check only shows up on GCKEY, ecas does not show it. but usually BGC starts after your receive the pre-arrival letter so thats one way to find out. 2nd way would be to call irc and listen to the automated msg

we dont know with certainty if that is the case, but seems like each stage has a due date that if it hasnt been done by then, they may have someone look into it or just increase the due date to another date.

congrats! what date did you submit the passport to vfs? just wondering for myself, how long did it take after passport submission to copr?

re-medical request 19th Sep.received pre-arrival, Remedical done 26th Sep.
No update after that , background check NOT started.

I’m also an October 17th applicant. MP sent inquiry today, absolute silence since pre arrival July 28, MP said it’s still too early but I asked him to figure out the status anyway... trying to be hopeful.
