My timeline:

Application Package + Transcripts delivered to IQAS: June 20, 2018
AOR2: July 20, 2018

ECA Soft Copy: Sept 22, 2018
ECA Hard Copy: Sept 27, 2018

Wow, same timeline up to AOR2, yet nothing from IQAS till now.

Thank you for applying to the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) for an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) for immigration purposes. This is to confirm that your academic documents were received by the IQAS office and your file is now placed in line for processing. Please visit www.alberta.ca/iqas
for the current processing time.

During the assessment, you will only be contacted by our office if we need more information or documents. Please do not call to ask about the status of your application as this can delay processing. If you wish to add information to the application, or change information already submitted, you may mail the information to:

Once the assessment has been completed, the IQAS certificate will be mailed to you. You will also receive an IQAS email notification with an electronic copy of your IQAS certificate. If you requested that the IQAS assessment be sent to a Canadian address, Canada Post will send you a Delivery Notice Card to that address to let you know that your package is available for pick-up at your local post-office. It is your responsibility to collect your package with the proper identification.

It is not very clear - it doesn't say AOR1 or 2. Is this all I should expect to receive? And does this mean that my ECA should arrive around 12 weeks from the 13th?

You must have filled the wrong address instead of Sikkim. I’m assuming after reading the last two lines. No one has got this reply ever for SMU-DE. Recheck what all you mentioned while filling out the form.
Or else send your docs again as a fresh applicant, only Your MBA degree for evaluation.

You shouldn't have done that.. SMU is only based in Sikkim and any other details creates further investigation.. Just mention the name as Sikkim Manipal University..

Inside the envope their stamp would have their address.. That's my take.. Others can also comment..

I added my center name (delhi based) in institution name in the IQAS form.

I was expecting this, so here you created the biggest confusion. This was not required, simply fill Sikkim Manipal university in Institution Name column, thats it.

For Masters equivalancy by IQAS for MCA / MBA.. Is it mandatory or do they see whether the degree was completed in its entire timeframe or even less is fine? I had given 2 semesters together so my Distance degree was completed in 2.5 yrs.. Is this OK for them to consider and give masters equivalent report??

Sounds great! Could you please help me with the below:

a) Were your transcripts delivered to IQAS before your application package? Could you please share your timelines of document delivery and AOR?
b) Did you receive only one AOR? What is the subject line of that AOR email?

Does anyone know if Iqas accepts masters from non UGC or aicte approved colleges? Mine is approved by ministry of science and technology, govt of india. Will this do? Thanks
