Hi Peanut butter and jelly, do you have any idea why I did n't get my AOR2 after 20 days of medical passing, I mean did you see any one else having same situation. Today I called IRCC, when I enter my application number I can hear all the info about the application that is available on GC key, but I could n't connect to call centre executive.

Hi all.

I called up the IRCC helpline a few mins ago and got some useful info. My file was received on June 28th (as the courier says) and is currently in the system but in a temporary location, kind of a staging area. The nice lady gave me a temp application number (this is not a confirmation that my application has been accepted) to quote during future calls to the helpline.

She also mentioned that applications received during the end of June and the beginning of July may face delays as the processing centre has been moved from Mississauga to Sydney NS. For the same reason, emails are also not being sent on time .

Thanks for the information. The situation is really getting unreasonable. I hope someone at the government will wake up and fix the issue.
