WES timeline for 2018

I sent two certificates -
1. 3year polytechnic diploma
2. Btech degree from IGPTU also PTU

My report was due on 21/9 i.e. yesterday. But yesterday I received an email from WES that they can evaluate my diploma but ""WES does not evaluate study from IK Gujral Punjab Technical University""(IKGPTU).

Now I know many folks who got their IKGPTU degree evaluated from WES and that's why I sent it.

I replied to them through their contact us page on WES website that - WES has evaluated degrees from IKGPTU in the past and that I know many folks who got their study from IKGPTU evaluated from WES. So evaluate my degree as well.

What else can I do in this situation now? Should I get refund or should I wait? Has someone faced similar issue where they received similar msg that WES do not asses degree from their college? Please give you op

In that case they would have never accepted my docs and would have asked for additional docs as well but they have accepted my docs.

Okie. Just check equivalency tool they have removed ptu now. Looks like recently removed. Could u pls share when did you apply for Wes and when did you pass btech

I checked it in June 2018. At that time also PTU was not there

I am also travelling in same boat.

I have done my B.Tech from PTU.

My timeline is as follows:
5th Sep'18 - Documents received
11th Sep'18 - Reviewing documents

No update till now

Hey Mack!
I reveirec a similar email last night which says we don't evaluate degrees from PTU. WEIRD considering majority of the poulation sitting in Canada is PTU janta.

I've written back to them...how about you? Any idea on the next steps?

Did anyone get any updates about evaluation, especially people who sent their documents in 1st week of Sept? I checked my account and the last update was on 9/12/2018.. which states that we have received the documents and reviewing it.. No new update after that..

Your evaluation is due for completion on 10/12/2018

oh ok.. I think in my case it will be after that then..My documents were received on 4th..

did you call them before they updated your status? If i remember correctly , I we shared almost same timeline for documents submission...

Docs Received status: Sep 6
Docs Received status: Sep 7
Evaluation in progress with completion date: Sep 21
Due: Oct 12

I have the same exact timeline.. However no update after 12th..

They rcvd docs on 08/8.
changed the status to - evaluation in progress on 10/8.
updated the status to - we are evaluating your report on 31/8 and that my report is due on 21/9.
update on 21/9 - on hold.
and sent email last night.

Why do they put process on hold at evaluation stage? I mean, they have already reviewed and accepted documents (which means they consider docs authentic). What could be the problem at evaluation stage?
